Sailor Steeler

Okay, lurkers...

One of the benefits of not being a popular LJ user is that I can see when I'm being...targeted.  I don't have 100 LJ visitors or anywhere near it, but there are five or six people who have decided to become part of a regular audience (yes, it has actually grown) -- people I know who are not random.   Heck, some of you are visiting more than my LJ friends.  Don't worry, I visited your LJs in response, so we're even.

If you want to ignore me, that's up to you but ignoring me means not reading my entries.  If you want to be my friend, be my guest.  Believe me, I'm not unwilling to extend an olive branch to anyone who happens to share the same interests as I do as long as you don't disparage me.  It can't be so hard to write, "Nangbaby, I like reading your journal and I'm your biggest fan."  Hey, some of you are acting like it, just sayin'.

Don't get me wrong.  I don't mind the attention, but it just means the next time someone claims I'm "paranoid" for thinking people are out to get  me and that I'm over-reacting, I'll just look at the chain of fools who forgot to turn off their visibility settings until it was too late.
